About Me

In 2018, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida International University. In addition to my majors, I graduated with a Minor in Asian Studies and a certificate in Japanese Studies. When I first entered FIU, I solely focused on my classes for a pre-med undergraduate track. With the idea in mind to satisfy the language requirement of my degree, I decided to take Japanese language classes. This led to me studying abroad in Japan and becoming more involved in cultural pursuits, such as participating in Japan Club and becoming a PAW Representative for the Office of Study Abroad. In the near future, I plan on attending medical school, and in the long run, I hope to incorporate a global aspect to my medical career to help my own community and others.
